What does it mean to be

Canadian?

Funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, studiOCanada is concerned with provoking new ways of conceptualizing what it means to be Canadian as we approach Canada's 150th anniversary of Confederation on July 1st, 2017.

As an artist-in-residence initiative in the Faculty of Education at the University of British Columbia, it serves as an artistic-intellectual platform in which artists, educators, teachers, students, and community members can come together to reflect upon representations of individual and collective identities through artistic collaborations.
