Imagine Canada 150 Years From Now
Currently on exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery is Sonny Assu's "Interventions on the Imaginary" — an evocative series of work that challenges the representation of Indigenous peoples in Canada. In Assu's words, his work is "confronting the dominant colonial culture's continued portrayal of Indigenous peoples as a vanishing race.” Learn more about his work here.
